So sorry I went MIA this weekend.
I’m so sorry I did not get to post the giveaway winner yet of these super cute kitchen goodies. I’m going to make you wait a bit longer in hopes you actually read most of this post . However we had a menagerie of people over at our house about 2 hours after the giveaway ended. The weekend remaind crazy there on after.
I had a baking schedule all lined out for our party on saturday night, that started Thursday evening. Which of course mother nature didn’t want to agree with because she decided to make a limb fall on the power box at the end of our street and all the power was out on our street for a good 5 hours that night. Needless to say….no baking occurred. I spent most of the evening Friday and the better half of Saturday in the kitchen baking and prepping for Saturday.
There have been a few requests for the recipe for these jello shots..and I am sorry I didn’t get them to you before the 4th. But they can be made with any color combo at any time…I will probably try and do them for football season. I got the recipe from the fabulous Amy at “Fearless Homemaker” and the recipe can be found on her site here. Super easy, super delicious and SUPER dangerous…just ask my husband.
In addition to the dangerously delicious Jello Shots, I made my famous Red White and Blue Velvet Cheesecake:
Some of my favorite cookie dough flavored cupcakes:
These wonderful “Heaven and Hell”…aka red velvet brownies:
And some fun Rice Crispy Treats with Cinnamon Sprinkles.
It was supa fun, we had a bunch of our neighbors over, a bunch of friends and family. It was a good time. There were a few of us that made it to the wee hours of the morning reliving our college days (or maybe it was more like midnight…because thats about as far as we can make it now a days). It was a great time had by all…which we won’t be repeating till next year . (and yes, there were more than 5 people at our party…these are just a few of the ones who made it late night).
Now I know you have all been in suspense this entire post (if you have made it this far through my rambling).
The winner of the Green Giveaway is….drumroll please……..
(I have proof!)
Congrats Erin, I will be reaching out to you via email to coordinate getting you your prizes. Thanks for everyone who participated. I will have my first actual sponsored delicious giveaway in the next couple weeks, so please be on the look out!
