Another busy week…another week I have not had the energy to step foot in the kitchen.
I am making it up to you though by showing you Dougs pride and joy – our garden. (I warn you, this post is chocked full of pictures) This is our garden the day he planted it-
And this is our garden a month or two later-
It has become a jungle out there. There are 3 different kinds of tomato plants. The one in the middle, has at least literally 30-40 tomatoes.
We also have a cucumber plant that has decided it wants to take over our entire back yard
We also have a very fruitful banana pepper plant
I also insisted upon some fresh herbs in there, so that I can experiment with them. So far the only thing I have used is the mint to make fresh mojitos…and I must say, YUM.
On the side of our garden, we have one of the peach trees we planted last year. We have 4 peaches growing on it this year. YAY!
