Raise your hand if you love smoothies!! Who doesn’t? What I love about smoothies is how nutritious they are, and how I can disguise healthy food in and trick my 3 year old into drinking it. She will eat the heck out of fruit, but veggies are tough. She is super duper picky. That is no lie. Her diet mostly consists of grilled cheese, chicken and fruit. Lots and lots of fruit. When I have the chance to get vegetables and greens into her meals without a fight, I take it. A smoothie is really the perfect vehicle to get them into her diet and she get’s excited about it. They’re great for getting fruits and veggies into our diet easily too. Admittedly, I am not a big fruit eater, when I have the chance to drink my fruit it’s much better. I love that you can pack a ton of nutrients into a smoothie. My husband and I have done smoothie week cleanses where we drink a smoothie every morning for breakfast and most dinners….
