Well another week has come and gone with no new recipe posts. I assure you, one is coming your way REALLY soon. You won’t want to miss it.
Thanks for all the kind words on our new house. We love it, and are so excited to be in. We’re down to the last 20% of boxes in the garage that are mostly filled with things we don’t really need but don’t really want to get rid of. I hate those things. We’ll get it figured out soon.
Here are some things I bookmarked this week –
I’m always looking for new recipes for Chicken and these look pretty darn good!
This reminds me that I have a squash cassarole recipe of a family friend I really need to do. In the mean time, this looks fantastic. Can’t wait for squash season!
My friend Amy from Fearless Homemaker posted a teaser picture of the batter for this and now that I see it I’m thinking it could be perfect for a certain little girls upcoming birthday.
I am all about one pot cooking and have been meaning to try a recipe like this one.
Joy always has good southern food happening. I want to make this very very soon.
I’m downloading this app now, it looks like a great way for some educational stops on future road trips!
I am happily married and don’t have to deal with the dating world anymore, but isn’t it funny how much it’s changed in the past couple decades?
Interesting read on irrational parenting, which I know a lot of us are guilty of.
That’s it folks! Have a great weekend!

Thanks for sharing my funfetti cake! It’s so funny, after I made it, I actually thought it would be great for *our* little one’s 2nd birthday, too! I may test it again with a mixture of regular flour + cake flour to try to get a lighter, fluffier texture, too. I really did love it the way it was, but it was a bit denser than the box mix I’m used to. 😉 And Happy Happy Birthday! I love that you got a Nothing Bundt Cake – those things are INSANELY delicious!

Of course, it looks delicious!! I love using cake flour, I might try that when I do it. I really think I’m going to use it for her bday!
Thank you for the birthday wishes! They just opened one up in Shreveport and Doug went and got me one and our favorite pizza for dinner last night! Perfect bday night in!!

I spy a Nothing Bundt Cake … and am curious where on earth you got it? I also live in ETex (having moved back from SoCal! UGH) and didn’t realize that goodness could be found here?!?!

Yes!!! There are two locations close to north east texas! One in Tyler and they just opened one in Shreveport! Hopefully one of those is close to you!

WHAT. Tyler? That’s super close! Samples here I come!
