I always LOVE giveaways on Blogs, even if I don’t need something, I still want it. I’ve been wanting to do a good giveaway for a while now. I know typically in a giveaway, someone sponsors it and gives away a free prize. Well, since this blog hasn’t been around for that long and I have not looked very hard for a sponsor of a giveaway, I decided to sponsor one myself. (Doug contributed too). I am going to try and do a giveaway once every other month or so if I can, so if you would like to sponsor a giveaway, please contact me.
If you are one of the individuals who follows me who is from Marshall, then you already know what I am about to tell you. If you are not however, and ever get to come this way, check out a little boutique store downtown called Charley and Bella’s. I would link up to them, but they don’t have a website, I will however link up to their facebook page and the yelp review, which has all of the info you would need to get a hold of them. They are a cute boutique store that has a lot of fabulous home furnishings, kitchenware, place settings and a great kitchen section (which I frequent quite often). This is one of the places Doug and I registered for our wedding last year and got some GREAT stuff, including a lot of Vietri. So, point of the story, if you make it to town, check them out! All of the items in this giveaway I found there.
Here are the details on the giveaway: I am giving away this little baking package for one winner that includes: Green Mixing Bowl by Tag:
Wire Whisk Strawberry Huller (because of my upcoming cobbler post!):
Multi Colored Cloth Party Napkins by Tag:
Small Rubber spatula (which size is great for getting into small jars and scraping down the side of the bowl). A total value of over $60! TO ENTER: ***Leave a comment telling me what your favorite summer time dish is, can be dessert, meal, drink…whatever!***
You also have 3 additional ways to enter: 1. Subscribe via email to my blog from the left hand side, under subscribe. This will put you on the list to get updates whenever a new blog has been posted. (Your email will never be used for advertisements). Then post in the comment section “Subscribed” If you already subscribe, simply post “Subscribed” (SIDE NOTE- Some people have had issues subscribing via email– once you enter your email in and click subscribe, it will send you an email confirmation. In that email you receive, you have to click confirm subscription. SO there is a chance that the confirmation email might go to your spam folder. So once you type in your email to subscribe, check your email immediately and your spam for that email.)
2. Post a direct link to this post and my blog on Facebook and/or Twitter and come back and comment “Facebooked” or “Tweeted”
3. Go to Facebook and “like” Caleigh’s Kitchen facebook page, then come back and comment “liked”

I love to make a gourmet burger on the grill in the summer time. My favorites so far have been ones I’ve stuffed with a jalapeno/cream cheese mixture..to die for! I also will throw on some corn on the cob still in the husk and mix up a parmesan garlic butter to go with it…so good!

My favorite summer time drink is iced tea! The more the better and it’s hard to keep it stocked in the fridge. My favorite dessert is peach cobbler. I love it cold with vanilla ice cream on top!
